Don’t wait until June 21 to celebrate Fathers for Father’s Day. Instead, make Dad the star of your social media show once a week by featuring silly “dad jokes” or by encouraging followers to submit photos and stories demonstrating how much they love their dad. The more you can involve your followers and get them to comment on your posts, the more visibility your business page will receive.

Independence Day is July 4

No one is quite sure what the 4th of July will consist of this year, but you can still celebrate it on your social media feed. Try a giveaway on your page for a basket of 4th of July goodies like bunting, popsicles, and sparklers. Begin to advertise your 4th of July specials as well long before the holiday actually arrives. Don’t let the date sneak up on you!

I Scream, You Scream

It’s not summertime without an ice cream treat. Try supporting other local businesses by hosting an ice cream giveaway on your page. You can partner with a local ice cream shop, which can tag you in their posts about your giveaway as well, doubling your social media reach. 

Encourage (Safe) Visits

If your business is open to customers, whether inside your store or curbside, encourage customers to take photos of their visits and tag your business. Then, choose a few posts each week or month to win a prize. Your business social media page will get more exposure and you’ll boost confidence of potential customers as well.

Consider trying a takeover on your social media page, featuring a new employee or referral partner. These are fun ways to cross-market your business to a different audience, and it gives you the day or week off of creating new social media content.
